Every catalogue my first thought is how many flower stamps do I need? As soon as I saw Tasteful Touches all I could see was the floral image and I was not interested. Now I have seen so many cards made with this stunning set it is working its way up my wish list. Until I am able to purchase this I have two great friends who own this set and I had a craft day with Marnie a few weeks ago and we came up with this card.
I struggle a little with the vintage style of cards as my go to is clean and simple, but I’m really pleased how this one ended up coming together. The stamping was done in soft suede but the sponging around the outside was done in crumb cake.
The more I use this set the more I see all the other stamps, rather than the floral image. They are great for backgrounds and texture. I’ve used the Forever Flourishing Dies to cut the gold embellishments.
On such a nice card I had to stamp the inside and co-ordinating envelope.
I hope this has inspired you to give these cards a go, I was originally inspired for this card by Shannean Moncrieff.
