If you are new or have never heard of a blog hop before it is a group of participants that create a project that may or may not have a theme and they “hop” together. The hopping means that there is a list of names of the other participants at the bottom of this post and you can click on their links and see all the wonderful projects that have been created. This is a great way to see the talent of other crafters that you may not follow already.
I think my most favourite season of the year is spring. I don’t like it too hot and the older I am getting the more I am feeling the cold. When I was younger I loved the cold but now I can’t seem to get warm enough, that or it just might be getting colder. In Brisbane this year it was as cold as I could ever remember it being.
As soon as I saw the Forever Greenery Suite I thought of Spring. With all the foliage images and colours and the gold trim is to die for.
All of these cards use the same basic supplies, which is a layering piece of cardstock, and the centre image is a piece of DSP which is a 3 inch square and the layering piece of cardstock is 3 ¼ inch square, but the end result is three very different cards.
I just love the Forever Gold Laser-cut Speciality Paper. This is awesome because it is already cut for you and you simply pull it out the holding sheet. There are so many images and background pieces to use and the best bit is that the leftover gold pieces (holding sheets) can be used to cut additional small die-cut pieces from any bundle that you may have already, which gives you even more value for money.
This card I coloured the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo with Soft Sea Foam Stampin Blends and I also used the Tin Tile Embossing Folder to give the background a bit of texture. The sentiment is layered with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch and all cards have been finished off with the gilded gems.
If you would like a catalogue please let me know and I will pop one in the post for you.
If you are interested in any of the products used and do not already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I would be happy to help you place an order, or you can click on the product links below which will take you directly to my online store.
