Hi crafters, I’m joining the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop again this month, however, this is the first time participating in a colour combination challenge. I had to double-check the rules but I hope I did ok. I did like the challenge of only being able to use certain colours and I had a few ideas running through my head so once I got started it was like I couldn’t stop.
Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop
This is the first card I came up with and the silver is from the little rhinestones that I have used. I wanted to try and keep this simple and something that you could create quickly.
For this one I decided to heat emboss the flowers and leaves in silver embossing powder and then watercolour. I did end up going over the watercolour quite a few times to deepen the colour but I am pretty happy with the end result. I finished off the centres with the clear faceted gems as they look silver. The lovely lipstick butterflies then complete the colour combination required.
I had so much fun with that card that I changed the colours up with this card but kept the same design and layout. It looks completely different.
Hope you enjoyed the card as much as I enjoyed making it and it inspires you to get creative with this set or another set you may own that is similar.
Please continue in this Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop and check out all the other great projects that have been created this month. If you would be so kind to please leave a comment below that would be greatly appreciated and I would love to know which your favourite card is.
