I’ve had my water colour pencils for close to 18 months and I’ve not used them. I thought this stamp set was a great chance to get them out and have a play. I decided to use the Exclusive Host Stamp Set – Prince and Princess.
I’ve stamped the swan in memento, which is not the normal thing to do when using water colour pencils, however I used a blender pen and wink of stella to spread the colour, not water so in this case it is just fine.
This card also used the blender pens to spread the colour. I was so pleased for my first attempt. Those that follow me know that colouring is not my forte but I’m willing to try new things and happy with the result.
In this card I decided to step it up a bit and try colouring on coloured cardstock. You can check out the tips and tricks in the video below.
