As a demonstrator we have the privileged of being part of some great events and one of the recent events was a virtual zoom craft along get together, where some of the Development Managers ran a session following this Pick Six Wonder that Shannon West created.
We could choose any 6 pieces of 6 x 6 DSP of our choice. If you wanted to use 12 x 12 you could, but you needed to cut it down to 6 x 6 and they should be different patterns.
I struggled a bit with these cards as they are not meant to be straight but I ended up with 2 like the above pictures and 2 I had to make straight.
We also needed some ribbon, co-ordinating cardstock and white or vanilla punched out sentiments.
I chose to create white cards and used the co-ordinating cardstock as just layering pieces but you could make coloured cards as well.
With these cards the Development Managers suggested that you hand cut out either Christmas Trees or Hearts, however, I am not confident in hand cutting anything, so I used these pieces of DSP and used the co-ordinating dies to cut out these stars.
All in all we made 14 cards and it took about 2 hours to complete. It was so much fun and it was great to catch up with some demonstrators around the globe given the current restrictions most of us are experiencing.
Hope you enjoyed the cards and you can check out the instructions here
