This week I’m focussing on the Ombre Designer Series Paper and show the versatility of it with a variety of different stamps that you may already own, or the FREE Sale-a-bration ones that you may earn with your qualifying orders.
This time I teamed up the beautiful new Art Gallery Stamp Set with the Ombre Designer Series Paper.
I don’t know about you but when stamp sets have co-ordinating Designer Series Paper I often get stuck in a rut and feel that I can only use the stamp set with those colours and papers. Today I’ve decided to try something completely different.
I even added a neutral colour, Smoky Slate, to help add a little bit of spark to co-ordinate with the silver embossing powder which I’ve used.
This stamp is a two step stamping stamp, which is how I’ve added the additional detail on the flower image. You could use an embossing colour or a different co-ordinating colour to give the flower images more depth.
I’ve made all these cards into birthday cards as I am running low on birthday cards, but there are loads of sentiments in this stamp set and you could make a variety of different cards to suit your needs. I’m not sure if you can see it but the Whisper White square has been embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.
I’ve finished all these cards off with Rhinestones and left the rest of the cards quite simple. This was to really show off the pretty paper but also to demonstrate that you don’t need a lot of embellishments to make stunning cards.
Hope you enjoyed the cards and I would love for you to leave a comment letting me know which card is your favourite.
If you would like a catalogue please let me know and I will pop one in the post for you.
If you are interested in any of the products used and do not already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I would be happy to help you place an order, or you can click on the product links below which will take you directly to my online store.
