Have you spotted Nature’s Beauty?
Nature’s Beauty is a stamp set on the last page of the Christmas Catalogue and Stampin’ Up! are donating $4.25 from each stamp set sold to a mental health charity. Think that this is a great initiative! I would use this set given that it was recently Mental Health Week in QLD.
Currently, I am quite a few weeks behind in blog posts and it will take me a while to catch up but our family has had the dreaded “lurgies” which is some sickness that I am sure my son had bought home from daycare and then as it passes to each person in the family it seems to mutate. I was the lucky last to receive it and certainly copped the worst of it. That along with exams and assessments due for both myself and my husband, working full time and entertaining a very active 4-year-old time has slipped away.
These are the cards I made a few weeks ago on my Facebook Live.
I was quite pleased with how the card turned out. The photo does not show it up very well but the background is also embossed using the brick embossing folder.
These are probably not colours that I would normally use or put together, but I had a few card kits left over from my QLD Mental Health Week Card Class and didn’t want them to go to waste so I made sure to use the already cut kits with this stamp set.
With this card, I also added the Waterfront Stamp set. I have had this stamp for 18 months and loved it as soon as I saw it but I have struggled to try and use it so until now it has been unlinked. I am going to try and use this set a lot more.
Interested in any of the products used??
