My son loves mermaids and rainbows so with this birthday in July I had to try and come up with a card that would meet his high expectations.
I was inspired by a card that I saw on Pinterest but made with competitor products and this is my take on it.
Although it took a little bit of time with all of the heat embossing and then fussy cutting I loved it so much that I made one in every colour. Hunter ended up choosing the Bermuda Bay as the colour he liked best so this is his birthday card.
I coloured the mermaid with all of the different colours in the background paper, which also inspired all of the layering colours.
