Jar of Flowers

I just can’t get enough of the Jar of Flowers bundle. In this post I have kept in simple and used the DSP to fussy cut the flower images and use these instead of stamping the flower images.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the jar images in a technique called Hinged Stamping. This means that you move the plate of the Stampartus down a hinge, or two (depending on the size of the image) to get a consistent position for stamping. In this case I moved the hinge down two hinges.

To get the water level I stamped with Pool Party but stamped off, this is called second generation stamping. As Pool Party is quite a light colour this was really faint, a little to faint so I actually did this step twice. This got me the result I was after, and it was still a lighter colour than the jar image.

I used the same sentiment on all of the cards as I just think at the moment with all of the Covid-19 stuff around it is nice to send a few cards with messages like this on them.

We may not be able to see the people we want in person but in most places we are still able to post a card to let them know we are thinking of them.

I hope this has inspired you to give these cards a go.

If you would like a catalogue please let me know and I will pop one in the post for you.
