Etched in Nature On Tour Swap

As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator we are eligible to participate in training events. Due to Covid-19 these events are currently held virtually, which is not the same as being able to catch up with everyone in person but it is still nice to be able to attend these events.

As part of the registration fee we were given the Etched in Nature stamp set and encouraged to make a card with this to participate in a virtual swap.

I wanted to go with a vintage theme and again if you’ve been following for a little while I have been using lots of layers to use up some DSP before it retires.

I’ve inked around all the edges with crumb cake.

This card can be replicated with loads of different colours, stamps and sentiments and I think I might use this layout again and again. I split the sentiment into smaller bars to spread it out. I also stamped out and fussy cut the butterfly.
Although I am in Australia I do use inches. If you are not using A4 cardstock you can adjust the measurements to fit accordingly. All my layers are 1/8” smaller than the last piece.

  • Cardbase – 8 ¼” x 5 7/8”
  • Sahara Sand Cardstock – 5 ¾” x 4”
  • DSP – 5 5/8” x 3 7/8”
  • Sahara Sand – 3 ¼” x 5”
  • DSP – 3 1/8” x 4 7/8”
  • Merry Merlot – 2 ½” x 4 ¼”
  • Very Vanilla – 2 3/8” x 4 1/8”
  • DSP – 2 ¼” x 4”
  • Sahara Sand – 2 ¼” x 4 ¼”
  • DSP – 2 1/8” x 4 1/8”
  • Hippo dies – Merry Merlot 3 ½” long, and Sahara Sand 3” long

Hope you enjoyed the cards.
