Embossing powder background

A few weeks I attended on online retreat just for demonstrators, which was amazing and I love attending these as it gives me to try create without me having to organize anything myself.

This is the card that I made using the new technique that I learnt and I also used this for my swaps. You can create the background by scrunching up a perfectly good piece of cardstock (which I did struggle with) and then flatten it back out again.

Then you grab your versamark ink pad and swipe it over the cardstock which should catch all the raised bits of cardstock and some bits that are not.

Then sprinkle embossing powder over and heat it up.

Here is another card that I made with the same background. I wanted to show the versatility of it and that you can make male cards and female cards.

Hope you enjoyed the cards.
