Shannon West from Stampin’ Up! has created a Double Wonder template and when I saw it on Julie Davidson’s Facebook Live video I just had to have a go. I love a good one sheet wonder template and this one is even more fun.
The template allows you to get 11 cards from the 2 half sheets of DSP (you want to half sheets to ensure you get 4 different designs).
Here is the video from Julie Davidson she has done a wonderful job and also created a template etc. I have not included the whole template as I have altered it a bit to fit Australian Card Bases but if you follow the links from the video you will get to her page.
To fit Australian Card Bases better I have adjusted the measurements like the picture below. The 4″ x 1/4″ piece at the bottom of the middle section I ended up ditching as it was too tiny to use on the cards for Layout 3 and instead I used ribbon.
I was on holidays the week that I completed these cards and was on a mission to try and use up all my DSP that I thought maybe retiring, especially with a new catalogue just around the corner.
It’s amazing how different these cards look with different colours and different designer series paper used. I used very limited supplies and kept it very simple with the Everyday Lable Punch used for all of the sentiments.
This is a great template to use when you don’t actually have much left of a pack of DSP and makes up a stack of cards that you can use individually or gift in a nice little box for someone. A lot of the ribbons used are retired and ones that I had in my stash. This week I have managed to finish 9 rolls of ribbon as well so I am pretty pleased with myself.
Interested in any of the products used??
Do not already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!!
I would be happy to help you place an order. If you would like a catalogue please let me know and I will pop one in the post for you.
