The Comfort and Hope Stamp was not one that initially caught my eye, but after borrowing it from my good friend Chrissy it is something that I really enjoyed using and now see how versatile this stamp set can be.
When making these cards I was focused on using the new in-colours but I can imagine the possibilities are endless in loads of different colour combinations now that are racing through my head.
There are so many different little stamps for different textured backgrounds in the Comfort and Hope stamp set and whether you use them in insolation or if you combine them as I have here I think they would work just as well.
The twine I wrapped around the card a few times and when tying the bow I doubled the twine over, so it looked a little more substantial than a single layer.
Do you borrow stamp sets from your crafting friends? I’ve been doing this more and more over the last 12 months, especially with a couple of my crafty friends as we have very different tastes. This gives me the ability to use the stamp set and make a couple of projects with it and pretty much decide if I will purchase this myself or if I’m ok with just borrowing it. I’ve been trying to arrange a craft catch up at least once every 2 months but sometimes life gets in the way.
Now that I’ve used the Comfort and Hope stamp set I think it is one that I am going to have to purchase as I can see me using this a lot more in the future.
