I had so much fun blending and colouring with the Flowering Foils DSP and this is a FREE Sale-a-bration Level 1 Item which you can get with any purchase of $90.
My upline recently had a Team Create Day. These are always heaps of fun and you will see the project that I designed a few weeks ago (Golf Tee Holder).
Kym’s project included some blending which although was really messy was heaps of fun and I am super impressed with the card. What I really liked about this card was showcasing that the Flowering Foils DSP can be used for male cards and not just female.
We used the makeup brushes which give a much smoother blending effect and then after all the blending we just dropped a few droplets of water onto it. It was heaps of fun. I actually thought that the stamp set we used came with dies, but it doesn’t and those images were all fussy cutout.
This card inspired me to create this pink version and this time I used the Positive Thoughts Stamp and Dies.
For the blending I started using Blushing Bride on the bottom, then Flirty Flamingo in the middle and on top is Melon Mambo. I coloured the ribbon with Flirty Flamingo blends. The frame is super cute and is part of Nature’s Thoughts Die which co-ordinate. I stamped all the flower, butterfly and leaf images in all three colours of the pinks but then when I was putting the card together I didn’t really use all of them.
I used the Highland Heather lends to colour the flowers on this paper which is cut at 4 inches wide and is the full 12 inches long. I have then wrapped it around a Kit Kat and simply stuck tape along the bottom and one of the sides to hold it together. The top is then hole punched with some of the Gorgeous Grape ribbon tied through it. The sentiment and dies are from the So Sentimental bundle.
I’ve decided to gift the card and choccie to my friend who is going through a tough time at the moment and I am hoping this might cheer her up.
